wake up

i have recently become lazy and lacking in ferver for the Lords work and will for my life.

i don't know when it happened, but i strongly felt it today.

when a friend reached out in need, it woke me up to the fact that i have been severly depleted of the kind of focus and patience i'm supposed to have with those in trouble.

and in that, i've put myself in trouble.

"Dear brothers and sisters, if another Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Share each others troubles and problems, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone in need, you are only fooling yourself. You are really a nobody. Be sure to do what you should, for then you will enjoy the personal satisfaction of having done your work well, and you won't need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct."

Galatians 6:1-5

it's my place to help if possible when called on.

it's your place to help if possible when called on.

loving kindness, tender patience, wisdom and responsability.

these are things i need to desperately recapture.

Father, forgive me.
