There was a 70 yr old man who was hit by a car in Hartford today. The driver took off, and the man lay on the side of the road without assistance from anyone for hours. Nobody stopped to check on him. Nobody made a call to 911. Everybody walked passed, drove passed, thoughts passed right by him. Hartford. Do you know how many people fill the streets during the day in Hartford?
Lord, I am discouraged and my heart is downcast and hurting. Please soften hearts. Praise you for your promises.

oh dear.
i don't even know what to say to that.
it's a regular good samaritan story, but without a good samaritan. incredibly shameful and all too regular these days.
