Greetings from Florida

It's been a long trip...by that I mean, it feels long. The timing of this visit is a little off, by the time I get home I'll have two days to prepare for camp, where I'll be for a month. Probably should've scheduled this differently because even as I sit here, I'm making a mental list of things to be accomplished before I show up in East Haddam Friday afternoon...
Even though I'm slightly stressed about things I know I shouldn't be back home, it's wonderful to spend time with my grandparents. The endless conversation is something I don't get enough of in CT, even if the topics are often recycled. I feel pressure to get in a relationship when I'm here because my grandfather just can't fathom my being 23 and not dating, engaged or married. He found my Gram when she was 14, married her when she was 15 and had their first child when she was 16. This issue of "finding a man" is simply not a priority to me, so being here, submersed in their way of thinking is truly odd. There is a season and purpose for everything under Heaven.
Breathing in and out, enjoying the sunshine, chit chat and family. Trying to embrace all of what's before me.
Love you.

that's like all the facebook ads that say something like "21 and single? it's not too late to find someone!"
