At last

YOUTH RALLY TIME!!!

Strange to be chaperoning three boys and no girls this time around. Luckily I don't have to deal with their housing assignment and I can enjoy the quiet and comfort of my own home tonight, and join them back at the church in the morning!

Tonight was wonderful. Patrick Mead is a marvelous speaker, full of wit and dry humor...and uncanny wisdom that really pulls you in. I haven't heard him speak since I was a student at these rallies so it has been a pleasure. Three more lesson times tomorrow!!

It's been fantastic seeing all the girls again, getting to hug them and ask how they've been doing recently. I'm thankful to have kept in regular touch with many of them this fall; will try hard to keep that going throughout the year...seeing Krystal from NYC was incredible. The hardest shell on that girl, but the softest heart. To get a hug from her was like receiving the nobel prize. God is sincerely opening her up, I'm sooooooooo pumped to witness it. :D

Tonight I am thankful that we have a God who tells demons to shut up and get out.
Thee end.
